Vash panted as he remained hidden behind a tree. It wasn't very good protection, nor hiding place, but it was some form of shelter. Now that he'd finally lost those slaveraders, he could finally rest. He quickly removed an arrow or two from his stomach and a throwing knife in the bad of his left shoulder. Wincing and groaning slightly at the pain as silently as possible. He closed his eyes an placed his head aginst the back of the tree, trying to catch his breath. Running from men was easy, but not from horses, he thought. If it had've been necessary, he would've fought them. but there had been a chance to run and Vash had taken it.

Dalli and Shidar raced through the trees. Very good Shi... We let half the slaves free. she sent the message to him the message being in her panther form at the time. Shi was on all fours and was panting loudly as he ran. "Thank you... My only aim was you at the time." He hissed. Dalli scrambled into the bushes very close to one of the slaves. She dropped low and Shi scrambled up a tree ready to pounce on who ever would dare to find Dalli. His eyes were only on her. The stench of human and horse hung in the air like death but there was another smell...
An elf. Dalli flicked her head up to him then searched the shrubs and bushes for the elf. Suddenly the horses and the slave traiders came through the under growth. Shi jumped down onto the horseman. His fangs bit into the horsemans throat.
Dalli scrambled up a tree and picked her victim. She dropped down onto one of the horsemen too and scratched at his throat killing him with her panther claws. Shi turned to the others drenched in blood. They held a automatied bow to him ready to shoot. "Go on... give me a reason. " He growled sneering. They froze then turned around and rushed off but not before shooting an arrow at his heart. He gripped it just before it hit him then broke it in his hand throwing it aside.
"You alright Dalli." She looked up at him her panther eyes soft. Blood and death now covered the air. The horses seemed calm instantly.

Vash heard someone nearby and stood to his full height. His red coat hid the blood stains from his injuries well. Of course his swords were well hidden underneath it. His keen ears picked up fighting and he carefully moved out to observe it, watching the two creatures converse. He stared down at the bodies at the bodies, feeling both pity and anger. Vash's eyes then flickered back to the two remaining people, it was obvious neither was a slaver considering two lay at their feet. His red coat gave him away instantely and he felt there was no need to hide. Quickly and cautiously asking a question, "...Were you two slaves?"

Dalli shot a glance at the red. It had caught her eye even before the elf spoke. Shi crouched down bearing his teeth beside Dalli.
Dalli on the other hand looker calm and tranquil. She stepped in beside Shi and crouched down. He does not know I am can become human and he still does not fear us. We will kill no more. I hate it so. She sent to Shi. He looked at his panther companion and nodded then he straightened up. "I am Shidar and this is Dalli and yes We were the ones to open all the cages. " Dalli smiled inwardly. How can a panther open a gate to a slave cage? Her big eyes were keen on this elf. He was a slave to Shi. Ask him what race he belongs to?
Shi shot a look at the panther by his side. "Your an elf...What kind?" Shi asked as Dalli requested. Dalli's eyes locked on the elf. Blood still dripped from Shi's mouth. He hastilly whipped it away.

"I'm Vash, and my kind of elf no longer exists. I am it's last and I am only a half elf," he said, stepping slightly closer, neither hand on a weapon, "I won't attack if you don't." He bent down and reached a slow hand out towards the panther to see whether it would snap or allow him to pet it. he winced a bit at his shoulder but wasn't too worried about the rest of his arm. Elven magic was quite a gift, it had sparred in-some cases-his arm.

Shi grabbed his hand before it landed on Dalli. His eyes were dangerous. "Don't..." He warned. Dalli gave a low growl and backed up then started to shimer. "Dalli no!" Shi cried letting go of the Elfs wrist and turning to face his now woman companion. "I don't need you mothering me." She said her fanges showing. She stepped forwards and lay a soft kiss on Shi's cheek then turned to the elf. "You injured. " She stepped close to him fearlessly and unashamed of the intimacy. Reaching out gently finger she brushed the skin beside his scratch then gently blew on it.
Shi's eyes narrowed as he watched her so close to the elf. Of course the elf would be in absolute shock at the sudden change from panther to young woman but Dalli was still too close for comfort.

Vash had tried to retreat when Dalli approached him and he had gotten as far as to move his left foot behind him but his right foot stayed firmly where it was planted. He was surprised, very surprised and unsure how to react. Her cold, gentle breath against the hot wound seemed to assuage the wound and helped a little. He finally found his tongue after stuttering for a second or two, "please. I'm fine."
Vash looked at her, he was always fine, the meaning of the word had been lost years ago and transformed into a mind-numbing nothingness. It didn't matter, it was his wound and his issue. He could suffer on his own. He deserved it, didn't he? Vash's right foot finally met it's left as he managed to take the step back.

Dalli frowned at him as he stepped away from her. "What did you do?" She asked in a soft gently voice.
"Dalli... " Shidar pursued. Dalli waved a hand to dismiss his unease.
"Why would anyone deserve such a injury?" She asked her green eyes soft and gentle.
"Dalli... They will hunt us down. Lets go." Shidar growled. Dalli looked back at him. She then turned to Vash again. "Come with us. " She said simply

Vash heard her first question and thought about the answer as he looked away from Dalli to hide the pained expression on his face. Why did he deserve such an injury? Guilt. He was never going to be able to live what had happened down. He didn't deserve anything from anyone. Relief filled him when Shi interrupted for him and then Dalli asked him to come. "Sure." Whether it was a good idea or not, he may be able to help them. In a way it was hypocritical, to never accept help but to find every possible way to give it.
