Aurora gripped onto Liam before they took off. Having never ridden a dragon, she didn't want to take the chance of falling off. "It just seemed that she was so irritated by my presence, I didn't want to make matters worse." She stated softly. She most often was more concerned about others thoughts and feelings before her own. It lead to her being hurt at times by kids at the orphanage, but besides that, she learned to stand up for herself, if only a little.

Liam placed his hands over her mouth gently to stop her from complaining. He motioned to the veiw. "Look. Aurora thats the elven forrest my home. " He pointed at a glistening lake. "And that is Mayens home. Its called Crystal lake and a hundred nymps protect it." He said gently. He then turned east as they flew and pointed at the shadowed part of the forrest. "That is S'dowe forrest. Its the most dangerous place in Layen. " He explained. "You must never go in there alone understand?"

Aurora looked around, and nodded to his comment of never going to the dangerous area. "I don't think you need to worry about that; I like to avoid confrontation." She stated softly. Course, she had to make sure he was no longer covering her mouth first. "How far do we need to go? I don't want Mayen to be exhausted by the time we get there for flying a long way." She stated with concern.

Liam smiled. "Mayen is an adult dragon. She can fly for up to five hours without getting tired." Mayen shifted and headed down. A little camp was set up among the trees in an opening. She brought her wings in and dropped from the sky. Liam pulled Aurora into his arms protectively and braced himself for the landing....
He groaned as they landed then Mayen ruffled her wings and settled down. Liam helped aurora down

"Just because she may be able to fly that long doesn't mean she will always want to." Aurora stated softly, patting Mayen gently, before heading over somewhere to sit down on land. "Are we going to be here a while?" She asked, she thought she needed a bath, or at least to wash up a bit. She didn't know what else there was for her to do now that they'd landed and it seemed they were resting for a while. And since boredom was dangerous for her, she figured she'd need to find something to do.

"Honey...You can go where ever you wish for we will be here till tomorrow when we shall go and meet Solus the king of the dragons." Mayen said gently to the young girl. Liam got down and reached into the saddle bag for his knife. He then untide his arrows and bow and threw them over his shoulder. He then turned to Aurora. "I am going to hunt for our dinner. Mayen will go for a swim in the lake later if you wish to join her but first I have a job for you." He crounched down infront of her. "Would you do me a big favour and collect some fire wood for me?"

Aurora listened and nodded to his request. "You should know better than to suggest me going swimming; cats hate water." She stated, trying not to giggle, before she went off to gather the required wood. Once she returned, she asked, "You wouldn't happen to know where to find birch bark and some corn husks would you?" She was taught first aid by her papa; and she figured it wouldn't hurt to have bandages with them should they be necessary.
