The sky was filled with soft snowflakes, that swirled gracefully in the wind that Islana's brilliant wings created. She loved flying and was almost ready to have Dariuis ride her. Almost. right now, she could feel him down on the mountain ground searching for prey for his supper. She was annyoyed with him right now, for she had just learned that he had never riden anything in his life, prevering to run his distances to get to his destionations. After a heated agrument, she had taken to the frozen skies, and left him down on the ground to find his own food. Islana had already eater and she flew above the were-cat debating on wether she should freeze him with her breath.
Dariuis was mad at Islana and he could tell just by that, that the pair was perfect for each other. He had found his meat, and now sat at a fire, which he had created, and poked at a deer with a stick to make sure that it was cooked. Not quite ready yet. Sighing, he thought about his flying companion and her side of their agrument. He really should fly her soon, before she became to detacted from him and decided to make him a cat popsicle. He leaned back and closed his eyes, knowing that his fire would be seen for miles and hearing footsteps in the forest...

Jasmine sat on Clouds back. Her wings were wrapped around her for heat. She was shivering and she knew they were lost. The crisp air nipped at her delicate skin. "Oh I wish we were back on Floa." She said through chattering teeth. It was to cold for Cloud to fly and they both knew it. His wings were folded across her lap and with every breath a cloud of mist formed around his nostrils. The horse found the snow incredibly challenging. He looked up suddenly aware of a fire through the trees.
He started towards it immediatly. Jasmine lay her head on the horses neck holding onto him fro warmth. He shoke his head and started towards the fire...
Jasmine's eyes closed and she drifted off more due to the cold then exhasution...
The horse stopped at the edge of the camp sensing danger immediatly. His nostrils flared but he was to stubborn to turn and run. Jasmine needed warmth. He stamped his hoof warningly as his eyes fell on the were cat.

Sensing another presnece at the edge of the camp, Islana roared and dropped from the sky, almost fearful for her Rider's life. He was the only rider that she had had, that had actually been like her at heart, and so now she dropped out of the sky like a stone, coming into land on the edge of the clearing. Dariuis was on his feet, and he was getting closer to the woman, but the horse knew what he was and was nervous of him. Islana drew a breath, and Dariuis could tell what she was going to do. "islana! Stop It right now! That will only make matters worse." She snorted and flew back, mad at him all over again, but Dariuis just sighed.
Grabbing the girl from the horse's back, he noticed her wings. What was a fariy doing so far north? Putting a hand onto her cheek, he pulled her from the saddle and brought her towards the fire, and wrapped her up in some of his extra blankets. Then he tore a chuck of meat off of the deer, and waited for her to wake up.

Cloud watched nervously as Jasmine was lifted from his bag and wrapped up. He pawed at the ground with his hoof and gave a snort. It was only when the were cat toke a seat too that her came over and lay behins Jasmine white as the snow himself. He held his head majestically and stretched out his wing across her frail frame watching her breath...
Jasmine tried to turn in her sleep then realised she could not. He wings still folded around her and under the blanket. She opened her eyes an pushed her purple strands from her face then lifted her head. The first thing she saw was the fire. Her lips curved into a smile. She pulled her hand free and rested a hand on Clouds wing. "Where have you brought us my dear companion?" Her eyes then fell apon a man.
She pushed the blanket of her so she could sit up and unfold her wings. She seemed to be slow and at ease in each of her movements. Her eyes were soft and calm. "Hello. Thank you is in order I expect. I got lost and it is too cold for Cloud to fly. I am too weak for such a distance. I am sorry if we intruded." She seemed almost oblivious to any danger.

Dariuis placed his hand on his chest in a warrior's salute, and he could feel Islana laughing at his polietness. She believed that was weak, and what he had done was weak as well, but she understood, that he couldn't have left her in the snow to die. "It is not a problem. Please, I am called Dariuis, and I have much meat to spare. You are welcome to it if you want." He stood and picked off a peice of meat to give to her. "Your steed is a magnificant creature. Where did you ever find such a thing?" He asked her normal questions towards her horse, but he secrelty laughed inside himself. No horse could ever match a dragon, and no horse could ever feel the way and connect to him that Islana could. Far above him, he felt Islana blushing.

"Jasmine..." She said softly and reached out of for the meat. "His name is cloud. Once when I was on a quest I was chased by wolves. Cloud saved my live and I remained his companion since then. My trips to the castle are much faster now." She broke some and held it to Cloud. He blew out of his nose at it. She sighed. "Fine remain hungry Cloud. " She said and even though it was meant sarcastically it came out in a gentle way. Fairies were incapable of creul words or violence. It was common fact in Layen.
She toke a bit of the meat. It was diffrent from what she had ever tasted before. She liked it. She toke another bite and licked at her fingers. "What did you say this was? It is really good." She licked her lips and tucked her hair behind her ear.

Dariuis shivered at the mention of wolves. They were the natural enemies but close realiatives of his kind. They always fought even on safe ground and the would do anything to hurt one another. He streched his arms back and sighed out. "It's deer. Suprisingly, there are many throught the mountains. I think there would be less with all the wolves," His eyes flashed as he looked out into the forest surrounding them, "and big cat's around. They're usually very think in this area."

Jasmine's hand snapped over her mouth and she gasped. "Deer?" She chocked out. She toke out a piece of cloth and wrapped the bit she was holding in it. "I'll just save this for later." She said trying not to look disgusted. She refused to look out the corner of her eye to the furred deer she had figured for a cloak. She gulped and tucked the meat into her tiny bag of fairy dust. Then smiled up at him bringing her hands closer to the fire. "Why are you out here in the cold and all alone too? I though humans prefered the heat and safety of their villages." Cloud gave a snort. He knew what Dariuis was and it wasn't human.
Her head turned to Cloud then back at Dariuis.

Dariuis poked the fire with a stick, as he shot a nervous glance at the horse. It could tell what he was by his scent. Standing up, he streched his back and went to go and get some more firewood, for the fire. "I like the cold and the solitude. I've never really had a home and I've never felt like a human so I live in the wildness...." He thingyed his head at her. "What makes you think that I am alone?" Islana was far above him and he could hear the distant swoosh of her wings as she flew above him.
