He watched her stand up abruptly thinking she'd just gotten incredily angry and disappeared into the water. Then after a few moments he returned. He frowned as he watched her deskin his fish for him. "Why are you doing this? I'm no sailor. Aren't you suppose to be helping sailors?"

"Mermaids are infatuated with sailors... its a well known fact. You come to the surface. you can talk. You can walk... I figured you'd eaither be a siren or a protector." He explained surprising even Mayen with his observations. He drank more of the water as the sun started to set and reached for a second fish. "Thank you...Mermaid."

"Actually very few of us come to the surface at all...Only afew whose job it is to protect sailors...Sirens are different all together." She said matter of factly as she deskinned another fish for when he was finished with the one he just took.

After the second fish he lay back on the sand looking up at the star encrusted sky. "So N'nu your a rider?" Mayen asked then scooped up a fish or two. "That would make you the fourth. Vango the fire dragon has a rider and so does the dark dragon." She explained. Her eyes grew dark. "Something very dark is going on I fear for the king. " Liam sat up and listened to his dragon. "I don't trust the dragon Dray. He seems to be thinking more wth his black head then his heart. I don't particularly trust the princess either."

"It's N'na..." She started as Miriam went back to the water to play. "And yes...I suppose I am." As she spoke she watched her little dragon and listened to Mayen. "...I'm going to have to leave the oceans soon aren't I..."

Mayen nodded. "Yes you are but we have potions on land for merpeople. It was developed for that princess of yours. Serina was set to marry the King. Basically all the princesses were. The fairy Princess, Serina and that horrid little Elf Kira. "
"Mayen!" Liam cried but felt to week to even sit up.
Mayen continued. "But Riddick gave Kira one look and he wanted her. Her dark beauty had captured him completely." Mayen looked up at the flickering stars. "Unfortunately we believe Kira has other plans just like her mother did. May was Dray's rider and it is rumoured that the only reason she had shared a bed with the King in dark secretiveness was for her to have his child. Her daughter would be in a good possition to take the throne then...."
Mayen explained then her eyes fell on LIam and she frowned.
She shifted slightly. "Oh Gods... Liam Your turning green!" She stepped over and lowered her head but not before shooting a warning glance at N'na. "I give you fair warning now mermaid. One word of my tears to anyone even your young dragon and I will kill both of you." She warned her eyes glowing silver. It was common fact that dragons could not cry. The legens of Islana the broken dragon were renouned.
Tears welled up in Mayens eyes and dripped down onto Liams leg. It glowed like melted liquid then it healed him. He Sat up startled. "Did I sleep?" He asked a hint of confussion in his voice. Mayen turned away.
"Yes and N'na did a very good job at healing your leg. You must give me some of that potion N'na." She said conversationally

N'na nodded in agreement, she wouldn't tell what happened. She then looked on in wonder as the dragon healed her rider. Not long after Liam was healed a smile came on N'na's face, she was happy to see he was alive and well.
She turned her head up to the dragon then smirked. "I'm sorry friend, but the secrets of the ocean must stay there...I can't give it to you." She then heard the dripping of water and turned toward the waves, Miriam was done playing apparently. As she walked to the fire you could hear the water dripping off her. "Mayen, will you teach me to do that one day?" She asked with a sleepy voice, a day of playing finally catching up to her.

Mayen kept her composure. "Miriam You look tired darling." She raised her wing gently over the little one to quieten her and started to purr comforting the dragonet.
Liam watched with a smile then his eyes darted across to Nīna. She looked beautiful in the glow of the fire. He nodded his head towards the tropical forrested area and got up silently sneaking away from his distracted dragon. He hoped the mermaid would follow

Miriam purred as she cuddled against Mayen. She was right, she had a big day and it showed. Forgetting about what Mayen did she layed her head down to rest.
N'na smiled watching the dragons before seeing Liam's gesture. Taking it as a hint she got up to follow him further from the shore, glad that she had legs when she was dry or else this would have been rather hard.

Liam ducked into the forrest and behind a tree waiting for her to come past so he could grab her. He smirked. The sound of the waves on the shore mixed in with the sounds of the forrest. Deeper into the forrest a waterfall could be heard. It reminded him of the elven forrest. He glanced off into the distance at the stars his ears listening for her heartbeat and breathing...

She quirked an eyebrow and crossed her arms when she saw him duck behind the tree. Her eyes were quite good, almost as good as an elf's. "What are you doing?" She whispered once close enough, a smile on her face.

Liam came from behind the tree. "Wondering where to take you that would resemble your beauty but I can think of nowhere good enough for you." He said gently stepping close to her. He toke her hand in his and kissed it. "I'm glad that I found you again N'na. I'm even more exstatic that we are companions in arms now. "

N'na pulled her hand away and stepped back a bit. "I am flattered Liam, but my heart belongs to another." She turned away to hide the sadness in her face that came about when she talked about her pirate. He had to be long past dead by now. She was far too old for her beauty.
