Kira's horse was growing tired but she kept pushing untill she felt the sence of someone watching her. She stopped her horse and turned it back. "Is someone there?" She called. She turned the horse this way and that her keen eyes searching the area. Then her eyes fell on the ungly face or an orc. She gasped. The horse sensing her fear toke a few steps back. She reached for her bow and an arrow....
"Attack!" She heart the shout and her horse reared. She gripped around the horses neck and healed him hard. It screamed then fell down hard on its front legs. It chose a direction and raced off. The orcs started to chase her. Her heart quickened and her eyes moved across the scenery looking for a way out...

Suddenly she was knocked of her horse and she felt a sharp pain in her side. She cried out and looked up into the ugly face of goblin. He laughed and pulled something from her side. He held up a knife dripping with blood... her blood.

She flung her arm in the air at the knife the stupid goblin was holding aimed at his face. It entered his scull and he looked shocked. He then keeled over and fell over her tiny frame.

Kira closed her eyes stuck under the goblin. she could hear the other Goblins and Orcs come after her...

Sephiroth had been feeding and he stood, wiping the blood off of his faces. His eyes were red and it was night, so he was in his element. Hearing screams from something. He dashed off into the woods quickly locating the trouble. A night elf lay on the ground surrounded by goblins. As the prince ran, he let off five arrows in the span of 5 seconds, each one findinfg their target in an orc. As he neared the group, he drew his sword. Standing on the edge of the road, his eyes glew as he smiled darkly. "Come and pick on someone your own size."

Kira frowned as she heared the thud of five bodies then she heard the cry of a man near the road. The Goblins got distracted but the Orcs concentrated on what they had come for. There were three around her. They lifted the goblins body of her then gripped her wrist. The minute the Orc did so she pushed up and kicked him in the face. He stumbled back and growled while his companions laughed.

She was on her feet before they knew it. The two behind her rampaged towards her. She crouched down grabbed her knives and pushed them into each Orcs stomach as she came up. They staggered back and crumbled to the floor.

She felt drained and weak. She slipped her hand over her wound. She was soaked with blood. "Hello princess. We don't want to hurt you." She frowned only now noticing that the world around her was spining.
"The knife... Its been poisoned." She said wearily.
The Orc grinned as she swayed and stepped forwards. She stepped back stumbled and fell.
"Stupid goblin. He was suppose to make a tiny scratch. Our master will be very disappointed." He approached her and she pushed back but she suddenly felt herself being lifted over his shoulder and she groaned in pain unable to see clearly any longer.

Watching the transition between the orc and the elf, he grew frustrated. Why didn't she fight back? Killing the enemies around him in a stunning display of swordsman ship, he grabbed the end on his sword, and threw it, implaing the orc through the chest. The stence of blood covered the air, and he ran towards the place where the elf had fallen. Rolling her over onto her back, he placed a hand on her chin and rolled her head to the side. She was one of the most beautiful things that he had ever seen, and for a second he just sat there and looked at her. Then he smelled her blood. it was wrong and at that point, he could tell that she had been poisened. hating himself already, he tilted her onto her side, and lowered his mouth onto her wound. If he hadn't just eaten, he would have sucked her dry. Plus, since the wound was already there, she wouldn't turn into a nightwalker like him. Soon, her blood tasted clean, and he sat back waiting for her to awake.

Kira slowly came round frowning as she did so. Someone else was there. She suddenly realised. She could smell it. She winced a milion things running through her head. The dull pain in her side started up. She was injured too. She slowly moved her arm down to knife on the side of her hip then she remembered that it was not there. It was in one of the Orcs. She pushed her back and flipped up. She was on her feet instantly but she stumbled slightly still allittle dizzy. She seached for a weapon then did a painful backflip grabbing one of the Orc's sword. She twisted on the stranger her shoulders hung in exhaustion and the sword pointed at him. A blue glint in her eyes...

Sephiroth leaned back as she pointed the sword at him. His own lay embedded in an orc, and his bow was strapped across his back. Blood dripped down his chin as he raised his hands in a calm motion. "There's no need for that." There wasn't either, Sephiroth had had his fill of death for the night. Instead, he turned his head to the side and studied her, his long fangs coming out in his smile and his eyes flashing red.

Kira made a sweping movement with her hand and cut into his cheek. "Your a vampire. There's more than enough need for this. " She said in a calm smooth voice. Her eyes were cold and emotionless. She then swayed slightly and stepped back more into a tree. She felt week but she would not let go of her weapon. She lay her head back against the tree her eyes still dangerous.

Sephiroth placed a hand against his cheek and his fingers brought away blood. Placing them in his mouth he sucked lightly, not really fearing this elf. As she walked back, he laid back onto the ground and made himself, compfortable but ready to pounce on her if she tried to escape. "I could have killed you when you were unconsious, but i didn't. Why do you think that is elf?" He studied her, as he wiped away her blood from his mouth and he flicked his hair out of his face. He could tell that she was someone of importance, by the way she held herself, even when she was wounded, and by the way that the goblins and orcs had tried to take her alive for someone else. Royalty maybe? Sephiroth was royalty himself, but banished from his kingdom for crimes against his father. Sitting up he leaned forward and spoke to her in elvish. "What are you afraid of?"

Her head tilted slightly as his words were spoken in her language but her eyes still held the same distinct cold indiffrence. She started to slide down the tree. "How many elves did you kill for the knowledge of our language?" She replied back in elvish. "You tell me why you did not kill me? Why I should distrust a Vampire?" She highlighted the obvious. He was a vampire. She was injured. Her blood seemed alluring she was sure. If she was not injured they would stand on equal ground but now...
She finally hit the ground keeping upright as she sat there. The point of the sword now aimed at the ground as she was too weak to keep it aimed at him.
"Tanka harwar" She said softly in elvish. She felt that the odds were against her anyway so if the spell made her weaker so be it. She glowed instantly and gasped as the wound healed. She dropped the sword by her side and started to shiver slightly. She glanced around at all the goblins and Orcs dead on the forrest floor. She was responsible for three deaths but the Vampire... Her eyes returned to him. He killed the others and saved her.

"Why did you save me? I am not a Drow... Only partly so. Why did you do this?" She asked in a shaky voice.

Sephiroth moved closer towards her as the sword point hit the ground. It didn't matter, if she brought it up into his chest. He was already dead and his heart hadn't beaten in almost 3 centuries. He laughed softly in her face, the smell of her blood thick on his breath. "Is there a rule that says Vampires are not allowed to save those in trouble?" In a slow motion, he moved his hand and placed it on the sword hilt, getting ready to disarm her. "You almost died back there, and I'm sure that you want to sleep. Go ahead, I won't eat you." He stood, his fangs shining in the moonlight. "I've had that chance already."

Kira allowed him to take it from her. "My horse will return Vampire. " She stated then sighed and closed her eyes. She drifted off to tired to argue.

The Bayard returned warily. He stood in the distance and watched the Vampire very close to Kira. Valiant walked forward bravely and stamped his hooves and reared up close to the two. "Step away from the princess or I shall... " The horse glanced from side to side shaking his mane as he thought about an attack. "I shall..."

Looking the horse up and down. Throwing the sword away from him, he hissed softly warning the horse not to come anycloser. Taking his bow off of his back, he grinned slightly. He wouldn't need it to kill a horse. He looked back down at the sleeping elf. "So... She is a princess then. That would explain it." He moved away from her and stood on a ridge, kicking off a dead orc. "I am Called Sephiorth the Exile." There, now the horse held power over him. If they happened to pass any more travellers, he would be hunted down like a fox. His tittle was known to almost everyone and so were his deeds of treachery to his royal family which lead him to this position. "If I leave, I will come back with food"

The horse gave a low growl. "Oh great. The Princess has met her perfect partner." The horse gave a stamp of his foot. His eyes fell on Kira heading his warning. He wished now they had not wandered through the Shadow forrest. The creatures fearing the sun could quiet easily live hear for twenty four hours wiithout sun. The cloud that the dark Mages had created completely blocks it out along with the twisting trees...

" She will not eat from you... but if it pleases you Vampire go on." His eyes were on Kira. His only objective was to get her out of here and away from the exiled vampire. His eyes fell on the vampire once again and he almost defiantly went over to Kira. "She is my Old masters daughter and would gladly face death for her. He lay down beside her ready to get up the minute the vampire left but looked at ease for now.

Sephiroth smirked watching the horse move in his periferals. He faced the horse and his eyes flashed red and his front side teeth grew to a greater length. "She will if she want's to live." He laughed as he kicked upwards and spun around, running so fast, it made him look like he had just disappered.

Sephiroth returned moments later, with a large buck strapped to his back. A gaping hole was in it's chest where it's heart had been and blood trickled down his lips onto his chin as he muntched on the beasts heart.. Hearts were good for the muscles, and helped store fat. He unslung it from his shoulder and stood straight and leaned against a tree, half of the heart held in his hand like an apple. A bloody apple. Taking a bite of it, he sat down. "We should probably move her soon. It an open road and i can't help treat her in the sunlight."
