Kira gasped. His last threat sounded so much like her mother. She had once said it to a Dark mage who wished to enter Layen demanding to speak to the king, Riddicks father. She could see recognition in Mayens eyes too. "I think it is best you give up on your valiant quest Liam. I am protected in all of my days as you see..."

Liam sighed. "I will follow you to death and beyond Princess. It was my oath but if it is you wish to remain with the Dark alliance.... " He bowed his head.
Mayen gave Dray one last look before jumping into the air. "Untill we meet again Dray." She called and flew higher.
"Fair winds Princess." Liam called.

"do you now understand Kira why I picked this boy who is nether human nor elf but something else. your mother was a great worker of magic. and that armour she never removed it and you know that."

Kira looked from Liam to Dray then his rider. "Yes I know that. " She said still alittle annoyed. "Whats his name?" She asked softly as if he was not there. "And don't you know that you should bow for royalty?" She glared down at him for an instant very similar to her mother. Valiant smirked his eyes flicking from him to Dray. "Has the boy always been this disrespectful?" He remembered when May came to seek out Dray. Her grace and respect for him was profound. They had treasured each other above anything and May because she was an Elf had known how wonderous a dragon was.

Kira glanced down at Markus then back at Dray. "I've come to tell you that the king is on deathbed. Three dragons have riders already... Mayen as you know... Vango... your enemy above all and the niave little swimmer Miriam... They will always side with solus but I don't know about Mayen... She is bendable." She said now ignoring Markus too.

Dray remained quite as he nodded to the young girl "what we really need is a diversion and to get in to solus' good grace. Bring him down from the inside" he told her "he has too many allies for him to be brought down with a direct attack and if we did win by that manor we would be to weakened to effectively rule" his voice cold and with a touch of ruthlessness that showed him to be completely cold.

Kira dropped her head with the grace of a queen. "I shall marry him." Her eyes flicked up to Dray. "This is what I came to tell you Dray. I shall be inside for the memory of my mother. I shall Marry Riddick. That way we can take over the country with ease." She sighed. "Abanon wants to bring the dark reign back as well. His orcs attacked me in the forrest."
"Thank goodness for the vampire." Valiant added.

Kira's mouth fell open and her eyes fell on Markus. "Mother..." She said in a whisper. "Mother I must it is for you plan to succeed. I can work from the inside." She explained. She didn't have her heart set on Riddick. Her mind had wondered to the vampire constantly. She blushed faintly and turned her head away.

"Working from the inside is good my daughter" she said as she looked down at her body for a moment before walking straight to her with her arms opened wide. "But only if we have control of the outside threat which we do not." there was a moment silence as she looked down to her daughter then up to Dray. "She has gotten slow if she did not recognize that I lived on in this well I interesting being."

"Ah valiant" she said as she stepped up to the horse and smiled hand going to gently stroke its mane. "It seems like only yesterday,” she said before her male body suddenly stiffened and his voice changed on back to his own.
"She is exhausted,” he said as he stepped away from valiant. "It took a lot of magic for her to remain in her armour" he said before moving to dray and smiling "She did not die in that battle"

Kira put her hand over her mouth and gave a tiny cry as her mother vanished once more. Valiant sighed chewing on his bit. He knew Kira's heart could break in an instant. She had her mothers strenght but the only thing she had ever loved as a child was her mother. It was the only thing that could get to her.
Suddenly Kira's stance changed. A confident firm look settled in her eyes. Her grip apon the reigns tightened and she looked up to Dray. "She will live forever. Her memory will rule Layen and her kin will be seated on that throne." She said in a strong determined voice. "You just work on the outside. I shall keep the king and Solus occupied." She said to then then dug her heals ing. "Fair winds Dray and his rider." She called her dark hair flying behind her as she rode down the path Valient seeming more fearless now that he had seen May.

"some daughter if she does not realise what is happening to us" Markus said quietly to him self. He himself had every intention of sitting on that thrown. "I don't understand what is happening to you dray confessed. "nether do we" admitted Markus.
