Background:
Liandra's home was invaded by corrupt navy-men when she was very young. Since then she'd always hated authority and would never have anything to do with them. When she was 17 her town was raided by a band of pirates. Finding the captain attractive she opted to join them. There were other women on the ship but she found it hard to fight alongside these pirates as they didn't treat any of their women as they should. Once she knew how to fight and command a great deal of respect she left these pirates to her own ship. The name of the ship was The Water Rose and due to the black rose on her flag her pirates were soon known as The black rose pirates.

She is a harsh but fair captain. When it comes to her crew she favors women to men.

Liandra scanned the horizon as she manned the helm. A smirk soon came on her face as she realized just where they were. "Vivs!" She called to the first crew member she saw, a woman of course. "Come take the helm!"
She then rushed to the front of the water rose, grasping a guideline as she rested her foot on the wood that formed the guardrail to the ship. As she kept her eyes on the horizon the salty air blew her auburn hair behind her along with the green fabric she used to tie it out of her face. "Get ready for some fun girls!" She called out to all who could hear. "We make port tonight!"
